About Opire
Opire connects people who want an open-source issue solved with developers willing to do the work for a reward. Anyone can create a bounty on a public GitHub issue, and if a bounty already exists they can add funds to raise the reward, so maintainers, teams and supporters can pay for features and fixes they care about.
The flow has four steps. You find an issue, create a bounty for it, review the pull request a developer submits to claim it, and arrange payment once the pull request meets the issue's requirements. Each contributor pays their own share separately, and you only manage the bounty you created. A page lists rewarded issues so developers can browse open work.
An OpireBot can also be used in private repositories by people who already have access, and bounties set there appear on Opire, although people who lack repository access cannot work on the issue or claim the reward. The platform is aimed at open-source maintainers, contributors looking to earn from issues, and teams funding work.
