About Clautel
Clautel lets you drive Claude Code from Telegram instead of sitting at a terminal. It runs as a background process on your own machine and connects the Claude Code command line to bots on Telegram, so you can message a bot to run work in a project directory from any device.
A manager bot attaches Claude to directories, and each project then gets its own Telegram bot. The site says it runs the real Claude Code SDK rather than a wrapper, so file edits, shell commands and tool use all work. Extras include resuming recent CLI sessions, a live browser preview you can click through inside Telegram, and a task scheduler that turns natural-language requests into recurring jobs. Only your Telegram ID can talk to the bots.
Installation is through npm and needs Node.js 18 or later plus a Claude Pro or Max subscription. The site says the code is MIT licensed, and setup includes a license activation step with a pricing section on the site.
