Mushy: features, pricing and alternatives

About Mushy

Mushy identifies mushrooms from a photo you take or upload. The AI looks at features such as cap shape, gill patterns and stem and returns a species match with scientific and common names, a description and characteristics, so you get an answer in seconds.

Every result carries safety information: confidence and toxicity levels shown as percentages, detailed warnings, similar species that could be confused with it, and conservative recommendations. You can save finds to a personal library with date and location, browse them as a thumbnail gallery, and keep using an offline mushroom library.

The listing is explicit that the app is for education and curiosity only, and that nobody should eat a mushroom based on an app result alone. A 3-day free trial leads to a subscription for unlimited identifications.
