About MathPal

MathPal is a Chrome extension that solves math problems on your screen. You click its icon and select the problem by dragging over it, whether it sits on a website, a PDF or a scanned worksheet, and the selection goes to its AI, which reads the problem and streams a full worked solution into a side panel next to the page, with math typeset properly.

It captures whatever the tab shows, so it works with text, images and poorly photographed scans, including handwritten work, and with PDFs in Chrome's viewer and Google Classroom assignments. It does not work on Chrome's own pages such as settings or the store. Answers are described as taking about ten seconds, and solutions are saved to a history if you are signed in. It is free to start, with no account needed, and the site lists a pricing page.
