About Lamda

This entry covers FIRERPA, the Android control platform published as Lamda. Its server runs directly on the device without extra runtime dependencies, covers multiple Android generations and can be used on rooted or unrooted devices. A Python client on the PC drives remote operations and UI automation, captures traffic, supports hook-based reverse engineering, proxies network connections, handles distributed networking, and exposes AI agents and MCP, all through a single service.

A browser-based remote desktop lets you view and control the device in real time with no PC client, streaming with MJPEG or H.264, tunable frame rate and bitrate, WebRTC with configurable STUN and TURN servers, multi-user access, clipboard sharing, live audio on Android 10 and later and an integrated terminal. Automation works through UI, OCR and image matching, and the platform bundles features such as Frida, MITM, proxy, VPN, frp and P2P networking, with more than 160 APIs for multi-device clusters.

The authors position it as replacing a patchwork of Appium, mitmproxy, frida-server, adb and uiautomator2 with one stack for long-running production use. It is licensed under MIT, with documentation, an llms-full.txt file and community chats. It suits mobile testers, automation engineers and security researchers.
