About L7 Admin Guard
L7 Admin Guard is a zero-trust access gateway for admin panels and internal services. Instead of a VPN client, team members install a browser extension that routes only the protected domains through the vendor's gateway node, where access checks run. The admin restricts the panel to the gateway's IP, so the service is not reachable directly and stays invisible to scanners.
Setup takes four steps: lock the panel to the gateway IP, create a configuration with domains, gateway server and time-to-live in the dashboard, receive a short 5-character token and share it with the team, who enter it in the extension. Access can last from one minute to permanently, can carry traffic limits and can be revoked automatically, with server connections logged. Stealth mode makes protected services return a 404 to unauthorized visitors.
Other scenarios include temporary freelancer access, switching between old and new servers by IP override without editing the hosts file, and routing different domains through different gateways by SNI for multi-region teams. A live demo uses the real extension. L7 Admin Guard is offered as a hosted service with a self-hosted option, in English, German, Spanish, Russian and Ukrainian.
