About Kivora

Kivora is a Scrum and Kanban project management platform written in Portuguese. It is presented as an open-source project built and run by students, intended for learning by doing on real projects, and open to students, teachers and partners. The site hosts the app on a vercel.app address and lists a Next.js, React and Supabase stack.

The product covers a Kanban board with real-time drag and drop, work-in-progress limits per column and filters by sprint, priority and assignee, plus a backlog prioritized by story points. Sprints include capacity planning, goals, automatic burndown and guided retrospectives, and metrics cover burndown, weekly throughput, lead and cycle time and velocity. A calendar consolidates ceremonies and a Markdown documentation base is included.

Teams use four roles: Admin, Scrum Master, Dev and Viewer, with database row-level security isolating squads from each other. An AI assistant chat with sprint context diagnoses delays, suggests replanning and summarizes retrospectives. Notifications go out by SMTP email or WhatsApp links. Visitors can create a free account.
