About Intent Tab
Intent Tab is a Chrome extension that takes over the browser's New Tab page. Instead of a blank page, each new tab shows a short affirmation or intention, so there is a brief pause before the next search or task. It is aimed at people who want a calmer, more deliberate start to each browsing session without maintaining another dashboard.
Beyond the rotating affirmations, the extension offers optional planning, focus sessions with a countdown timer, goal tracking, quick tools and a progress review. Intents can be linked to a single outcome, a work block gets a visible finish line, and you can note what changed and where to begin next time.
Signing in with Google is optional and is used to authenticate the account and connect Pro access. Cross-device sync is a separate opt-in that saves settings and app data to a private app folder inside Google Drive. The extension is free to start, and a Pro tier adds a larger library of curated intent sets.
