About ImprovMX

ImprovMX lets owners of custom domains send and receive email without running a mail server. Messages sent to addresses at the domain are forwarded to an existing mailbox, which is a common setup for small businesses, side projects and domains that only need a few aliases.

The service supports catch-all and regex aliases and customizable routing rules, and one alias can fan out to several destinations, to a null address or to a webhook. It also provides SMTP and a JSON send API for sending from the custom domain, email logs for troubleshooting delivery, and an API for creating domains, aliases and viewing logs.

ImprovMX is a hosted commercial service with a free tier that needs no credit card, plus paid plans and an enterprise option. The company states that it does not read or sell email and that it complies with the GDPR.
