About GoAccess for Nginx Proxy Manager

This project packages GoAccess, the log analyzer with a terminal and web interface, in a Docker image preconfigured for Nginx Proxy Manager. It is aimed at self-hosters who already run a reverse proxy and want traffic reports built from the proxy's own access logs rather than a third-party analytics service.

The image can parse Nginx Proxy Manager, redirection and error logs as well as Traefik and Caddy logs, and a custom GoAccess configuration can be loaded for other formats. It bundles GoAccess 1.10.2 and GeoLite2 City, Country and ASN databases for location data. Environment variables control options such as skipping archived logs, debug output and basic authentication, and permission problems can be handled with PUID and PGID settings.

Images are published for amd64, arm/v7 and arm64 on Docker Hub and GitHub Container Registry, with stable and development tags. The project is released under the MIT license, and the README notes that it is still in development and that large log volumes can take a while to parse.
