About fastwrite.io
fastwrite is an add-in for Microsoft Word that supports academic writing in German and English. It continues your next sentence or a whole paragraph using the sources you provide, and pressing Tab accepts the suggestion with the matching citation. It is aimed at students writing term papers, bachelor's and master's theses, dissertations and papers.
You can upload PDFs of up to 1,000 pages each and ask one document or all PDFs in a project at once, with every answer linking to the exact page. A literature search covers more than 20 million scientific papers and the web, showing a summary, author and year, and a Deep Review checks the work against nine criteria that universities use for grading, so weaknesses show up before the examiner sees them.
The workflow runs in four steps: find literature, chat with PDFs, write in Word and improve the thesis. The site is available in German and English and invites visitors to start for free, with prices on a separate page.
