About Envmanager
EnvManager stores .env files and secrets in one encrypted place for a whole team. You paste or drag in existing files, values are encrypted with AES-256 on import, and per-environment roles decide who can see staging or production. Every change is versioned with an immutable audit trail, so a bad rotation can be rolled back.
Its distinctive feature is the envmanager run command for AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Cursor. The agent writes a placeholder, the real value is injected when the command starts, and anything the command prints has the value replaced by asterisks, which keeps keys out of chat transcripts, logs and commits. An envmanager pull command writes a local .env file.
Secrets can be synced to nine deployment platforms, including Vercel, Railway, Render, Dokploy and Coolify. Pricing is a flat amount per team with a 7-day free trial and no card required, and the vendor offers to help migrate existing variables.
