About DocSend

DocSend is a commercial document sharing platform that is now owned by Dropbox. Instead of attaching a file to an email, the sender shares a tracked link, and the service reports on how recipients engage with the document, down to the individual page.

Senders can also apply access controls to decide who may open a document, which makes it suited to business material such as sales decks, proposals and other confidential files. It runs as a hosted web service, so recipients do not need to install anything.
