About Contextkit
Contextkit sits on top of AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex to reduce the need to re-explain a project each session. It stores persistent project memory, restores context automatically, and provides guided planning that asks clarifying questions before the agent starts changing code.
A signature feature is the slop detector, which scans the diff after each AI change for signs of low-quality output such as duplicated components, unused props, invented imports and cosmetic refactors that add complexity. It can notify you, warn, or block a commit. The tool also provides a set of short commands and skills, and lists compatibility with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed, Antigravity and AGENTS.md conventions.
Contextkit is a commercial closed-source product that is currently offering early access, with a pricing page and documentation on the site.
