About Cinetry

Cinetry is a free multimedia player for enthusiasts that brings content from the media servers a user has set up themselves into one interface. Supported sources include Jellyfin, Emby, CMS sites, WebDAV and Alist, Subsonic-style servers such as Navidrome, audiobookshelf, IPTV lists, and some Chinese media services. The documentation is in Chinese.

It offers data import, aggregated search across several servers, and one-click switching between them. The app is a purely local client: it does not scan libraries, only fetches the data needed for the page being shown, and the developer says it does not collect, store, or transmit personal information or server data. It provides no media itself.

Clients are available for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, and TV, with iOS distributed through TestFlight invitations and other install methods. A Docker web version is listed as a work in progress. It suits people who run several media servers and want a consistent player across devices, and the license is not stated in the input.
