About CCO Insights

Continuous Cloud Optimization Insights, or CCO Insights, is a Microsoft project offering Power BI Desktop reports for monitoring, operations and infrastructure teams. The reports give a quick view of an existing Azure platform footprint, its resources and services, and code contribution characteristics on Azure DevOps and GitHub.

The reports are built with Power Query M and DAX, pulling information directly from various Azure REST APIs, and the repository contains the guidance and files needed to deploy the dashboards in your own environment. The wiki gives detailed deployment guidance, videos explain the capabilities and installation steps, and a troubleshooting guide and release notes are provided. Topics mention Azure Advisor and Microsoft Graph.

CCO Insights is licensed under MIT, and contributions require agreeing to a Contributor License Agreement through a bot. Because the reports run in Power BI against your Azure data, they are relevant to teams already using Azure and Power BI who want optimization and visibility insights.
