About BusyCal

BusyCal is a commercial calendar application from BusyMac for macOS and iOS. It combines calendars from iCloud, Google, Exchange and CalDAV accounts in one place and adds features that the built-in calendar apps do not offer, such as flexible views, smart filters and tasks.

Users can type events in natural language, rely on smart filters to focus on particular categories, and customize the interface heavily. The vendor offers it alongside related apps such as BusyContacts and 2Do. A free 14-day trial is available, the app requires macOS 12.0 or later, and it can also be obtained through the Setapp subscription service.

BusyCal is proprietary software sold as a one-time purchase, listed on the homepage at $49.99 USD, and it runs locally on the user's own devices rather than as a hosted service. It suits Mac users, students and professionals who manage many calendars.
