About Bolty

Bolty: AI Running Coach is an iPhone app from developer Robin Baret for runners who want to understand their training data. It connects to Strava, Garmin or Apple Watch and explains each run in plain language instead of leaving you with raw numbers.

Run analysis covers pace by kilometer, heart rate zones, cardiac drift, elevation and gradient-adjusted pace, and it detects intervals automatically, for example showing a workout as repeated 400 meter efforts with recovery. The training plan is rebuilt week by week from what you actually ran, and missed sessions extend the plan instead of breaking it. You can also tell the coach in plain language that you are tired and it reshuffles upcoming sessions, and it speaks to you before, during and after workouts.

The App Store lists the app as free with in-app purchases, for iPhone only, with plans from 5K to marathon.
