About Blogger

Blogger is a free blog publishing service from Google. Users sign in with a Google account, choose a template with flexible layouts and background images, and start publishing posts and photos to a blog hosted by Google.

A blog can use a blogspot.com address or a purchased custom domain. Google AdSense can display targeted ads so bloggers can earn income, built-in analytics show which posts do well and where readers come from, and a blog can be connected to Google Analytics for more detail. Blogger stores thousands of posts and photos, and a Blogger API and developer forum exist for programmatic access.

Blogger is a hosted product with an interface in many languages, a help center, forum and video tutorials. It is not self-hosted, and it suits individuals and small projects that want a no-cost way to publish a blog rather than a full content management system.
