About Babely

Babely is an AI localization tool that runs as a command-line program, started through npx and the @babely/cli package, and keeps translation files in sync with a code repository. Developers review translation updates like any other Git change, so locale files stay aligned with each release.

An interactive setup asks for the source language, the target languages and where to store locale files, and the translate command then fills in the other languages. It supports a wide range of file formats including JSON, YAML, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java properties, Android XML, iOS strings and XCStrings, Gettext PO, XLIFF, CSV, Flutter ARB, PHP, Markdown, MDX and HTML. A GitHub Action is available for CI/CD.

Babely is a commercial service with a 3-day free trial and online documentation. It suits development teams that ship product updates in several languages and want translation to fit their existing Git workflow.
