About Yahoo Search
Yahoo Search is the web search service operated by Yahoo. Users type a query on the search page and receive web results, with a bar of trending searches shown on the landing view and shortcuts to other Yahoo properties including Mail, News, Finance, Sports and Weather.
The results page can show summaries that may be generated by AI, produced by a feature the page calls Yahoo Scout, along with a notice that AI can make mistakes. The page also links to settings, a privacy dashboard, help, terms and advertising information.
Yahoo Search is a free consumer web service that is accessed in a browser, and signing in with a Yahoo account is optional. The advertising and about-ads links indicate that the product is supported by advertising.
