About Wisp
Wisp is an auto-scroll reader for iPhone and iPad. The text rises at a speed you set in words per minute while your eyes stay near the center of the screen, so there are no page turns or taps. It describes this as a continuous natural flow rather than flashing single words, and it is marketed for ADHD, dyslexia, study sessions and readers who do better when the text moves to them. Speed and place are remembered for every book, and after a pause the text eases back to pace.
Your library accepts TXT, EPUB and PDF files of your own, and Safari's share sheet or a pasted URL turns a web article into clean text that reads offline, and bookmark spots with notes. Four paper tones, a choice of typefaces and an optional session goal are included, and a focused mode spotlights the active line. Everything stays on the device with no account.
Wisp Pro, a monthly or yearly subscription, adds unlimited books and articles, focus-strength tuning and Listen, an offline on-device read-aloud with the spoken sentence highlighted and narration speed from 0.5x to 2x. The free tier covers your first five books and five web articles a month.
