Whispen

SaaS

Voice typing and translation app for Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android that dictates into any app, polishes text, and offers a free plan plus Pro.

About Whispen

Whispen is for dictating, translating and tidying text inside the apps you already use. It runs on Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad and Android, with web notes as well, and supports more than 100 languages. On iPhone, iPad and Android it works as a keyboard, for example inside WhatsApp, Gmail, Slack, Telegram and Chrome, and on Mac a shortcut works anywhere, with voice typing that can run locally on the device.

Translation is built into the voice keyboard in several ways: speak in one language and have clean text typed in another, paste-to-translate, and bilingual messages. Dictated text can be polished by AI, and smart modes and cloud transcription handle harder audio. The site describes the app as private by default. On the free plan, voice typing runs locally where the platform allows, with a few AI translation and polish credits each week. Pro adds cloud transcription, smart modes, AI polish and unlimited translation.
