About Wger
wger is a free workout and fitness manager that you can host yourself. It covers training plans, nutrition and body measurements in one application, and it is built for individuals who want control over their fitness data as well as gyms that need basic multi-user management.
Users can create flexible workout routines with automatic weight progression rules, track diet plans, body weight and custom measurements, and log calories using a food database from Open Food Facts. A progress gallery stores photos, and a built-in exercise wiki can be extended by the community. Apps are available for Android, iOS, F-Droid and Flathub, and a REST API supports third-party integrations and automations.
wger is written in Python with Django, released under AGPL-3.0 or later, and translated by the community through Weblate. Hosting your own instance is described as being close to a single docker compose command, and the project also runs a public instance at wger.de.
