About wariwari
wariwari is an expense-splitting app for groups of friends, travelers and housemates. You create a group, invite people with a link, and add expenses by choosing who paid, who took part and how to divide the cost: equally, by exact amount, by percentage or by share. No account is required to join, and friends can join by link before creating an account. The interface is available in Japanese, English and Spanish.
The app turns all expenses into one settle-up list and updates balances as people repay one another, reducing overlapping paybacks into fewer payments. Expenses can be entered in more than 150 currencies while balances stay in the group currency. Settle-up receipts give a shareable snapshot of balances, members and recent expenses, and CSV import and export move data in or out of a group. The site lists use cases such as restaurant bills, group trips, shared living costs with rent and utilities, and events or group buys. Groups and expenses are unlimited.
