About Voxdub
Voxdub is a rythmo band editor, the scrolling script strip used in dubbing, built for adapters, translators and dubbing actors. It runs as a web app and also as a desktop app for Mac (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Windows, and the interface is offered in French, English, Polish and Spanish. Every line of dialogue becomes a segment colored by its character, so timing and lip sync can be checked at a glance.
On the band itself, segments can be cut or merged in one click, and a passage can be marked as a named loop and repeated until it works. Playback scrolls smoothly at up to 240 Hz, and a Band Draw tool covers annotations. Translators can keep the original band locked above their own and adapt line by line, with one band per language and a one-click switch between them. Original voices can be removed from the video while keeping music and effects, and the change can be reversed.
Exports include video renders in 16:9 or vertical 9:16 at up to 4K and 60 fps, an MP4 without the original voices, session stems in BWF, subtitles in SRT, ASS and DETX, plus a presence grid and a studio sheet for the booth. Voxdub is a commercial hosted product with a free trial; the pricing page lists the plans.
