About Verity
Verity shows local business owners what AI assistants tell their customers. You find your business through Google, and the service asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the questions customers ask, such as whether a restaurant is open on Sunday or who can fix a leak tonight. It compares each answer line by line with your Google Business Profile facts, including hours, phone, address and website, and flags every mismatch per assistant, because the three systems draw on different sources.
A report takes about a minute and includes accuracy, visibility and sentiment scores, how often you are recommended, and a ranked fix list tracing wrong facts to the page they likely came from, for example an old directory listing. Rivals cited by an assistant and the local guides where you are missing are also shown. A business needs a Google Business Profile to be checked.
The first scan is free, and plans give 5 scans per month on Pro and 20 on Max, with extra scans available to buy. It is a hosted service for restaurants, home services, clinics and local retail. A FAQ explains which assistants are checked and how mismatches are detected.
