About Svelte Commerce
Svelte Commerce is a production-ready headless e-commerce storefront built with SvelteKit and TypeScript. It talks to commerce backends through APIs, so you can build a fast, SEO-friendly storefront independently of the platform that manages products and orders. It is released under the MIT license.
Backends are supported through connector packages. According to the README, no file in the repository names a connector: every service resolves through a core library path, and the connector that responds is decided by which package is installed, so switching backends is a matter of installing a different connector. Supported systems include Shopify, WooCommerce, Vendure, Saleor, Medusa, Litekart, and many more, with an early connector for GoCommerce.
The storefront features carts, filters, and faceted search, works as a PWA, and offers themes. Documentation and a list of sites running in production are available. It suits agencies and developers who want a Svelte-based front end with the freedom to change or combine commerce back ends.
