About Sublime Merge
Sublime Merge is a commercial Git GUI for Mac, Windows and Linux, made by the team behind Sublime Text. It uses a custom Git reading library and its own cross-platform interface toolkit, and the vendor emphasizes speed when staging, searching and reviewing.
Developers can stage whole files, hunks or individual lines, and split a hunk into several changes. Diffs appear side by side with syntax highlighting, character-level differences and expandable context. An instant search covers commit messages, authors, paths and contents, and a built-in merge tool helps resolve conflicts. Highlighting reuses Sublime Text syntaxes, with more than 40 languages included, and the app shows the exact Git commands it runs so you can move between it and the command line.
Sublime Merge is proprietary, with downloads for each platform and a separate purchase page. It supports dark and light themes.
