About Stowfy
Stowfy is a recipe keeper for iPhone and iPad. Using the share sheet in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook or Pinterest, or a web page, a recipe is pulled into a clean, readable format with ingredients, steps and nutrition, and recipes can also be imported from a photo of a cookbook or from pasted text. Saved recipes go into cookbooks organized by cuisine, occasion or mood.
A weekly meal planner lets users drag recipes onto breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the grocery list is built from the plan, grouping ingredients by supermarket aisle, merging duplicates and tracking what is already on hand. Servings can be scaled, units switched between metric and imperial, and recipes in other languages translated. Step-by-step cooking mode shows large steps with built-in timers and keeps the screen awake, personal notes can be added to any recipe, and the library syncs between iPhone and iPad through the cloud.
