About Steps & Beasts

Steps & Beasts turns walking into a collecting game. Every morning starts with a new egg, and walking toward your step goal hatches it into a Beast. The app lists more than 250 unique Beasts, hatching the same one repeatedly unlocks shiny Gold and Glitter looks, and keeping a daily streak unlocks rarer and more legendary creatures.

Alongside the hatching, a character moves down a Journey, a path that grows with your total steps and passes through biomes, landmarks, treasure chests and levels. Quests along the way earn XP and Feathers, which can be spent in a shop on new looks for the character. The app also records steps, distance, calories and seven-day averages with charts, offers home screen and lock screen widgets where the egg evolves as you move, reads data from iPhone, Apple Watch or other Apple Health wearables, and backs up progress to iCloud. It is free with in-app purchases.
