About Alarm Arcade
Alarm Arcade is an iPhone alarm app designed for people who sleep through or snooze ordinary alarms. When an alarm rings, you have to finish a short mission before it can be dismissed, so tapping the screen half asleep is not enough. You pick a mission and a difficulty when you create each alarm.
The missions include math, memory, typing, pattern and reflex games, as well as motion-based tasks such as shaking the phone. Some challenges are physical: scanning a barcode or QR code, or finding an object with the camera and confirming it. Alarms can carry labels, and snooze can be turned off entirely or the mission rotated from day to day.
The app is developed by Metehan Kasap, works offline and does not need an account, and alarms stay on the device. It is free to download on the App Store with in-app purchases, and it runs on iPhone and iPad.
