About Statoscope
Statoscope is a toolkit for analyzing and validating the stats of a webpack bundle. It produces an interactive, UI-based report so front-end developers can see what is inside their bundles, and it includes command-line tools for checking those stats against rules, for example in continuous integration. It is aimed at teams that want to control bundle size and dependency problems.
The key features include a full dependency tree covering modules, chunks, assets, entrypoints and packages, and size maps for entrypoints, chunks and packages. It detects duplicated packages and modules, validates stats with a set of useful rules, compares two sets of stats, and supports custom reports written in the jora query language. There is no limit on stats size, and the HTML report can be compressed heavily.
The project is split into a webpack plugin that generates the report and a CLI for validation, plus a sandbox where you can try the report online. It is written in TypeScript and MIT licensed, and its development is supported through OpenCollective and GitHub Sponsors.
