About App Store Connect CLI

The App Store Connect CLI, invoked as asc, is a fast and lightweight command-line tool for the App Store Connect API. It lets developers automate release workflows for iOS, macOS, tvOS and visionOS apps from a terminal, an IDE or a CI/CD pipeline, instead of clicking through the web console.

Automatable areas include TestFlight, builds, submissions, signing, analytics, screenshots and subscriptions, among others. A companion set of Agent Skills can be installed with asc install-skills, which pins 25 reviewed skills to a specific commit so that coding agents can run the same workflows. Authentication uses API keys, and the repository describes privacy and telemetry settings. Released binaries are self-contained and need no Go installation.

The tool is written in Go and licensed under MIT, and the repository was created in January 2026. It is installed locally or in CI, so there is nothing to host. It suits mobile teams who want repeatable, scriptable App Store releases and developers who use AI coding agents for release chores.
