About Shoutrrr

Shoutrrr is a social media scheduling tool that you run yourself. You connect your accounts, draft a post once and send it to several networks at the same time or queue it to go out on a recurring schedule. It is presented as an open-source alternative to Buffer, Typefully and Hootsuite, with no monthly seat fees and no third party holding your tokens or data.

Supported platforms include X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Threads and Discord, and the text can be adjusted per network. A posting queue with recurring time slots and a month calendar keeps the feed consistent, and analytics show how posts perform. Teams get workspaces, roles and email invites, so clients or brands can be kept separate.

It is written in PHP, runs anywhere Docker does and is released under the Apache 2.0 licence. The project comes from the coollabsio organization and is relatively new, with its first release in mid-2026.
