About Run&Grow

Run&Grow is a running app that adds a gentle game layer to building a running habit. You pick an easy goal, such as a first 5K or a few runs a week, go for a run at any pace, and each completed run grows a flower, tree or plant in your garden. It is aimed at people who want to keep going rather than go faster.

There are 14 plants to discover, each growing in three stages, and earned seeds can be spent on decorations such as frogs, ponds and lanterns. The app tracks distance, pace and heart rate, creates a shareable card for Stories showing the plant you grew, and works with Apple Health and Apple Watch on iPhone, with an Android version too. There are no streaks to lose, so gaps do not break progress.

The website also offers free running calculators (pace, VO2 max, heart rate zones, race time predictions, run-walk intervals and more), training plans such as Couch to 5K, race statistics and a blog. The app is free to download.
