About RTMP.IN

RTMP.IN is a third-party web service for streaming live to Instagram from a PC or Mac, which the Instagram app otherwise limits to smartphones. It provides an RTMPS server address and a stream key that you paste into streaming software or an online streaming service, so the broadcast can use a computer camera or encoder instead of a phone camera. The site states it is not affiliated with Instagram.

It works with encoders and services that support RTMP, including OBS, vMix, Wirecast, XSplit, VidBlasterX, Restream, StreamYard, CameraFi, OneStream and YouStreamer. You can also restream a YouTube video, invite guests, and preview the live feed in your browser. A new Instagram stream key is needed for every broadcast. The site says your Instagram login details are not stored and describes a two-factor authentication system. It is presented as an alternative to tools such as Yellow Duck, Promovgram and StreamOn.
