Resume Matcher is an open-source application for building resumes, cover letters and PDFs with the help of large language models. You keep a master resume and tailor it for each application, using providers such as Claude, ChatGPT or DeepSeek, or models you run locally. The backend is Python and the interface is built with Next.js and TypeScript, under the Apache-2.0 license.

The workflow is to upload a master resume as PDF or DOCX, paste the description of the job you want, review AI-generated improvements and tailored content, and optionally produce a cover letter and interview preparation.
