About Careerkit

Careerkit is a web-based resume builder that uses AI to write resumes and cover letters. Its pitch is that applicant screening software looks for the language of the job posting, so the user pastes a posting and the tool works those terms into the resume, producing a draft in a couple of minutes.

The service offers a free resume builder with ten designs, an AI writing assistant, section-by-section editing with a live preview, and translation of resumes into other languages. Alongside the builder are a cover letter writer, a job tracker, AI headshots and a Career Link feature for a shareable profile page.

Careerkit is a hosted commercial product aimed at job seekers at any level, from students to experienced professionals. Basic building is free, and further plan details are published on the vendor's pricing page.
