About Rekka

Rekka is a hosted explainer video generator. You give a topic, either a single line or a detailed explanation, choose a style and format, and it produces a narrated, hand-drawn video with voiceover and drawn-on visuals, with no timeline to edit, stock library to search or footage to record. You can attach your own documents for it to explain.

Four styles are offered: whiteboard, chalkboard, crayon and retro reel, the last being vertical with a shot per line and burned-in captions. It can be used from the website, a REST API or as an MCP tool in an agent. Sample uses include onboarding, compliance and security training, product explainers, internal process walkthroughs and education, and the example shows an eleven-minute video built in chapters from one prompt. Rendering takes roughly 5 to 10 minutes and runs server side.
