About Quran Unlock

Quran Unlock is an iOS app that ties app access to Quran reading. You choose which distracting apps to lock and which prayer times to follow, and after each prayer those apps stay locked until you have read five minutes of Quran in the app. It uses Apple's Screen Time framework to lock apps on the device, and says it does not see which apps you use or track your reading.

Inside the app are a vertical feed of verses that highlights each word as it is recited, a 604-page mushaf reader with recitation by several reciters, per-prayer goals, streaks and badges, custom rules such as blocking an app until you finish a given surah, an automatic Friday Surah Al-Kahf reminder and daily azkar. It supports 15 languages. The core habit is free, while a paid premium tier removes the cap on blocked apps and adds custom rules.
