About QuickQuill

QuickQuill is a macOS app for meeting notes that run entirely on your Mac. You start recording from the menu bar, it captures your microphone and the audio your Mac plays, and when you stop it transcribes the conversation and writes a summary in the background, with no bot joining the call. It works offline and needs macOS 26 or later.

A floating caption bar can show live subtitles and translate a call or video in another language on the device. Recordings and transcripts are saved locally, and there is no account or tracking. The free tier offers push-to-talk dictation, custom vocabulary, history and search, and text and Markdown export. The paid license adds unlimited meeting capture, file import, on-device summaries, live subtitles and translation, SRT and VTT export and subtitled video. The site is available in English and Japanese.
