About Prophet

Prophet is an open-source Chrome extension that adds Anthropic's Claude models to the browser side panel. You can chat about the page you are on, get summaries and answers, and let the assistant act on the page with 18 built-in browser tools that fill forms, click buttons, extract data and navigate. Three Claude models are offered, from Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 down to Haiku 4.5, with streaming responses.

Instead of screenshots, it reads pages through the accessibility tree, which the site says makes interactions faster and more deterministic. Page content is processed locally and only your messages go to Claude, and conversations are saved across sessions. The source code is on GitHub. Billing is pay per use, with credits that map to API costs rather than a flat monthly fee.
