About PromptDuty
PromptDuty addresses employees pasting confidential information into AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot. A browser extension scans each prompt before it leaves the browser and detects personal data, so an organization can keep AI access without losing sight of what is being shared.
It is rolled out to managed Edge and Chrome browsers with a single Intune policy, with no agents or servers to run. Depending on policy, users get a coaching warning, personal data such as names, emails and Social Security numbers is replaced with reversible tokens, or high-risk content is blocked. Every interaction is logged.
Administrators get a dashboard with alerts and weekly reports, exportable audit reports for compliance work, and custom policies that treat client names, project codes or financial thresholds as sensitive. The site is offered in English, Spanish, French, German and Chinese.
