Printful: features, pricing and alternatives

About Printful

Printful is a commercial print-on-demand and fulfillment service. Sellers add their own designs to products from a catalog, connect the service to an online store, and Printful produces and ships each order to the customer, so the seller does not hold inventory.

The service offers a design maker, a product catalog, quality information and the option to hire an expert for design work. Sign-up is free, and the vendor also provides enterprise support for larger businesses, plus a blog, an academy, help center articles on shipping and returns, and affiliate and referral programs.

Printful is operated as a hosted service by the vendor, so there is nothing to self-host. It suits artists, brands and small shops that want to sell custom merchandise such as apparel without buying stock in advance, and a pricing page lists the costs involved.
