Poster Design

Poster Design, known in Chinese as Xunpai Design, is an open-source online image editor and poster designer that is ready to deploy. It is modeled on commercial template design tools and targets posters, e-commerce product images, long article images and covers for videos or WeChat official accounts. Its documentation is primarily in Chinese.

The editor uses a native DOM canvas, with images composed by a mix of front-end and server-side rendering, and ships with a complete admin back end and APIs. Version 2.0 adds free AI features for image generation, copywriting and background removal with brush touch-up, plus PSD file import to help create templates. The stack is Vue 3, Vite, Pinia and TypeScript on the front end, and Node.js with Express and an embedded SQLite database on the server, with Puppeteer and sharp for image output.

The code is licensed under AGPL-3.0. The authors also run a SaaS site and offer custom development and private deployment, so you can self-host or use the hosted version. It suits operators and developers who want to embed a design editor in their own product.
