About Passwordstate
Passwordstate is a password manager and privileged access management product from Click Studios that customers host themselves. It lets IT teams store, share, audit and rotate passwords, privileged credentials and secrets on their own servers, with policy-driven controls and role-based access.
Capabilities listed on the site include management of privileged accounts and remote sessions, integration with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, a range of authentication options, compliance reporting, browser extensions, mobile apps, a REST API and webhooks. Version 10 adds a job scheduling engine, and high availability, automatic backups, email notifications and self-destruct messages are also offered. A separate password reset portal handles account lockouts and expiry notices.
Passwordstate is proprietary software licensed per deployment. Click Studios provides a 30-day free trial, a non-profit discount, a reseller program and documentation, and pricing and licensing details are covered in an FAQ.
