About Org-remark
Org-remark, published by nobiot, is an Emacs package that lets you highlight and annotate text. It works across plain text files, websites viewed in EWW, EPUB books opened with nov.el, and Info documentation, so marginal notes can be kept consistently across reading material inside Emacs.
It is built for users of Org mode, and its topics also point to the Org-roam note-taking ecosystem. The manual covers installation, getting started, usage, features and concepts, customizing, and known limitations, with indexes of features, commands and user options. The documentation describes the 1.3.x series of the package, with newer features landing first in the development archive.
The package is distributed through GNU ELPA for releases and GNU-devel ELPA for the unreleased main branch, and it can be configured with use-package. Written in Emacs Lisp and licensed under GPL-3.0, it runs entirely inside your own Emacs, so there is no server component.
