About Ordo - Daily Office

Ordo is a prayer app that assembles the Daily Office for the day. Psalms, scripture readings, canticles and prayers are put together according to the liturgical calendar and the prayer book you choose. The site is written in Portuguese and also offers English, Spanish, Welsh and European Portuguese, and the app works on iPhone, Android and the web.

It gathers more than 20 prayer books in five languages, including several Brazilian Anglican Books of Common Prayer as well as the 1928 and 1662 books, and follows each book's own rules, calendars and tradition. Prayer is offered for each hour: morning, midday, afternoon and compline, plus the minor hours when a book includes them.

The liturgical day is shown with colors, seasons, celebrations and saints next to the relevant office, together with the day's lectionary readings. The app can work offline and is free on every platform, with no ads.
