About Obsei

Obsei is an open-source, low-code automation tool that uses AI to process unstructured text. It is built around three kinds of components: observers that collect data, analyzers that run AI tasks on it, and informers that send the results onward, so you can build social listening and alerting workflows without writing a lot of glue code.

Observers can gather content such as tweets, Reddit comments, Facebook post comments, app store reviews, Google reviews, Amazon reviews, news and website text. Analyzers apply tasks like classification, sentiment analysis, translation and PII detection, and informers deliver output to ticketing platforms, data storage or dataframes. Observers can store their state in SQLite, Postgres or MySQL, making Obsei suitable for scheduled jobs and serverless setups.

Typical use cases listed in the README include social listening, automatic alerts for complaints or qualified leads, creating customer issues from social media and email, and tagging tickets from complaint content. Obsei is written in Python and licensed under Apache-2.0. The README warns that it is in alpha, so the master branch may include breaking changes and released versions are advised.
